When I first started talking about climate optimism, the question I kept being asked was: “But how can we be optimistic about climate change?”
My answer was always the same: “How can we not?”
It’s encouraging to see how climate optimism is spreading in popularity as more and more people are understanding the importance of curiosity, willpower, and belief.
And proud to have helped pave that path!

Growing up in Sweden,
I spent a lot of time out in the wild, experiencing all the magic that Mother Earth had to offer. My appreciation for nature led me to seek new ways to live a sustainable and eco-conscious life, even in a big city like New York. What does it mean to be an eco-warrior in today's world?
In cultivating my many passions, I realized the best way to describe myself is as a Climate Optimist, and it's through that lens I now approach each day.
In 2017 I co-founded Role Models Management, a talent agency that puts ethics, sustainability, and social justice at the core of our business. The agency came to life from the desire to build a platform where models are given a voice to speak about things they believe in and to show the world that models can be incredible agents of change.
I’m also the mother and host of Hey Change Podcast, a show where we speak with scientists, experts, and activists about the challenges we face with climate change and what we can do about it!
