65. Climate Anxiety - Tips for Healing

Are you suffering from climate anxiety? How do you even know if you are?

I decided to record this solo episode to share my story of climate anxiety and how it's shown up in my life. I hope that by opening up about how I've felt all these years, I'm reaching out a helping hand.

Because I want you to know that whatever you might be feeling, you're not alone! Eco-anxiety and climate depression are spreading like wildfire (no pun intended) among us and psychologists worldwide are just starting to pay attention to the mental health effects climate change can have. This is a serious topic so let's get serious about it - so that we can learn to heal!

In this episode I talk about:

  • My climate anxiety and how it led to eating disorders and self-sabotage

  • Tips for connecting with your anxiety and how to work through it

  • Daily practices for healing and dealing with eco-anxiety

Don't think this episode is for you? You might want to think again! YOU have the right to heal. YOU are entitled to feel grief and to choose to move beyond it. YOU get to be the happiest and healthiest version of yourself that you can possibly be. Because if you want to heal the world, you must start by healing yourself first.

I hope this is a helpful one, friends! If you want to read more, here are some blog posts to check out:
