We are so excited to share this incredible conversation with you! Katharine Hayhoe is an atmospheric scientist whose work has resulted in over 125 peer-reviewed papers. Her achievements are many. She is the Chief Scientist for The Nature Conservancy, a Paul Whitfield Horn Distinguished Professor and the Political Science Endowed Chair in Public Policy and Public Law in the Department of Political Science at Texas Tech University, she is a principal investigator for the Department of Interior’s South-Central Climate Adaptation Science Center and the National Science Foundation’s Global Infrastructure Climate Network.
Her Ted talk has nearly 4 million views and she’s been named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People, one of the Huffington Post’s 20 Climate Champions, she received the Sierra Club’s Distinguished Service Award, she was named one of FORTUNE’s world’s greatest leaders, she made Elle Magazine’s list of 27 Women Leading the Charge and (this one stood out to me as a parent) she is one of Working Mother’s 50 Most Influential Moms. That is to name only a very few of the many, many accolades and honors Katharine has received.
